Macklemore's "Good Old Days" ft. Kesha - Music Video

I had the absolute pleasure of wielding my vintage Super 8 cameras to infuse nostalgia into Macklemore's hit "Good Old Days" featuring Kesha. My task? To capture, on Kodak Motion Picture Film, the essence of a freewheeling road trip, evoking the raw, unfiltered vibe of yesteryear, as envisioned by the brilliant directors Johnny Valencia and Ben Haggerty.

This wasn’t just any project. It was a deep dive into a bygone era, where every frame shot on Super 8 contributed to the millions of YouTube views (100M and counting!). Collaborating with the legends at MOTION STATE, we embraced a fast-paced shooting style, hopping from location to location, all while managing cutting-edge equipment carts and seamless wireless tech. This wasn't just a gig, it was a masterclass in efficiency and artistry, elements I've proudly woven into the fabric of my current cinematography work.
